The BTM High Speed is equipped with a bucket-wheel ditching machine. This vehicle is based on the chassis of the AT-T, heavy tracked artillery tractor. It was designed to dig trenches; it can in an hour, dig a trench of 1120 meters along and 1.50m deep on 80 cm wide.
The Syrian army has used this vehicle, and currently the new Afghan army uses this vehicle.
The Israeli army has captured this vehicle in 1973, during the Yom Kippur War.
